NOVICE TEAMS
Our novice cheer teams are the first steps in competitive cheerleading. There is no entry-level requirement for these teams and and offer a good opportunity for progression for athletes with lower tumbling skills/athletes new to cheerleading.
Novice teams train once a week.
Attendance to tumbling session is encouraged but not compulsory.
PREP TEAMS
Our Prep teams allows athletes an opportunity to participate in a more competitive level of cheerleading while offering a smaller time commitment than our Allstar Teams. There is a higher level of commitment needed for these teams.
Prep Teams train once a week. Attendance to tumbling is strongly encouraged.
Prep teams will attend friendly competitions and are also sometimes given the opportunity to attend higher standard competitions towards the end of the season.
ELITE TEAMS
Our Allstar Teams require a higher level of commitment and dedication than our Novice and Prep Teams.
These teams will compete between 3 and 6 times per season, at high standard competitions.
It requires a huge amount of commitment to be placed on one of our Allstar Teams, as you will be representing EAC at a high level.
Allstar Teams will train twice a week. Attendance to tumbling session is compulsory.
INTERNATIONAL TEAMS
Our International cheerleading teams compete at a world class level and require the highest level of commitment and dedication to the sport.
Training sessions are two to three times per week and attendance to a tumbling session is required.
In the 2023/24 season our International Team attended The Summit Championships placing 9th in the world. International teams may also be given an opportunity to compete at European competitions in seasons to come.
POM DANCE
Our Pom Dance teams involve a motion based dance style incorporating visual effects and jumps.
These teams require a high level of dedication and commitment.
Our Pom Dance teams attend 3-4 competitions per season.
Pom Teams train once per week.
TUMBLING
Our Tumbling classes are for those wishing to focus on progressing towards advanced tumble skills.
Tumbling is a fundamental aspect of cheerleading and we strongly encourage EAC athletes to attend tumbling sessions alongside their team classes. Each level team has varying tumble requirements.
Our tumbling classes offer training through all levels, starting with basic rolls and cartwheels and progressing to advanced tumbles such as handsprings, tucks and twists.
